CITIES International Conference is an annual international conference organized by the Urban and Regional Planning Department of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS Surabaya). The conference, which debuted in 2005, serves as a platform for academics practitioners to present, disseminate, discuss research results field urban regional planning. Through efforts all involved, has grown from primarily national one that attracts diverse, worldwide audience Asian, European, Australian, American continents. 2022 will focus on theme “Future Challenges System Cities” . This important because cities do not grow isolation, but have interdependent relationships with regions, countries continents larger scale. These must be studied depth ensure areas can evenly without causing negative effect surrounding area. Additionally, this also prompts us examine why production consumption activities are concentrated or distributed different sizes compositions.
